How do ABS brakes?
ABS brake sensors using wheel speed to determine if one or more wheels are about to lock during braking. If a wheel is about to crash, a series of hydraulic valves limit or reduce the braking on that wheel. This prevents wheel lock and the vehicle skidding and allows you to have secure control of the maneuver.
Since the ABS brake does not allow the wheel to stop spinning, you can stop and maneuver at the same time. The braking and handling of the car is limited by the ability to grip the tire has the floor.
